Dealing with rounded shoulders? You’re not alone. Here are two simple yet powerful moves to help restore shoulder mobility and improve alignment: Beginner Level:
Stand facing a wall with your forehead resting on a towel. Hold another towel overhead, wider than shoulder-width. Slowly bring the towel down behind your back to your lower spine, then return it overhead. Controlled movement is key! Advanced Level:
Lie face down with a towel under your forehead. Perform the same movement, guiding the towel from overhead to behind your back. This added resistance from the floor makes it more challenging—and more effective! Rounded shoulders are often caused by sitting too long, slouching, or repetitive habits—and if ignored, they can lead to long-term pain and stiffness. In this video, I’m showing a seated posture reset that targets the deep stabilizers in your hips and helps realign the pelvis. When your hips are in the right position, your spine can stack properly—and that directly affects how your shoulders sit and move. Here’s how to do it: Sit near the edge of a chair, roll your hips forward to create a natural curve in your lower back. Feet slightly pigeon-toed, knees stacked over your ankles. Relax your stomach, shoulder blades back, palms on your thighs, and look straight ahead. Now gently squeeze a pillow between your knees, hold for one second, then release. If you feel one side engage before the other—that’s your imbalance showing up. Keep going for 60 reps to help balance it out. This is just one piece of the full solution. It starts deep in the inner part of your thigh (femur), travels through your pelvis and abdominal wall, and attaches to the front of your spine at T12–L5. 
It’s the only muscle that connects your upper body to your lower body—and when it’s short or tight from sitting, it can pull your spine, pelvis, and posture completely out of balance. The position I’m showing here—one leg at 90°, the other straight, lying on your back—gently separates the hips and gives the psoas space to lengthen naturally.
