Video Postcards of my ride from home in Tucson, Arizona to @roka HQ in Austin, Texas. This is my first time really riding in Texas and it gives me a sense of the scale of it all. Huge, wide, open roads with very few people and spread out towns. It’s super humbling because of the wind. I realize that it doesn’t really matter how I feel, it’s which direction the wind is blowing. I’m celebrating when I have a tailwind and otherwise I’m just hanging in there. It’s all gone by really quickly. It’s also the most disconnected I’ve ever been. I’ve spoken to my parents but otherwise I haven’t been on my phone at all for six days. It’s just been a Texas experience. After the trip we’re really going to take a moment and reflect on the past week. It’s been a whirlwind.
