Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Connect Particl's retail intelligence directly to your AI workflow. Query competitor data, analyze trends, and surface insights — all through natural language.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external data sources and tools. Instead of copying and pasting data into a chat, MCP gives your AI direct access to live information.

Particl's MCP server is a hosted service that exposes our retail intelligence platform as a set of tools that AI assistants can call. No local installation required — just point your AI client at the Particl endpoint with your API key. This means you can ask questions like "What are the top-selling products in athleisure this month?" and get answers backed by real Particl data.

Why use Particl with MCP?

Natural language queries
Ask questions about competitors, pricing, and trends in plain English. No SQL or dashboards required.
Live data access
Your AI assistant queries Particl in real time — always up-to-date, never stale exports.
Works with your tools
Compatible with Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and any MCP-enabled AI client.
Composable workflows
Chain Particl data with other MCP tools to build powerful analysis pipelines.

Requirements

Most MCP tools require export credits, which are included with paid plans. Enable MCP and generate your API key in Settings → MCP.
