A friend texted the other morning to let me know my Business Insider Power Hour feature had gone live. It actually came out earlier this week, but between hunting down photos and battling Instagram, it took me a few days to finally get this post up. A big thank you to Julia Pugachevsky and the @businessinsider team for the feature and for taking an interest in what a day in my life looks like. I’ll link the article for those interested. We started GORUCK to bring the lessons of service and community that Jason and I learned in the military and the CIA into everyday life. Building this company while balancing three kids, a senior dog, and a cat means my routine is a constant mix of structure and chaos.
 The interview covers what that reality looks like: morning rucks in the driveway, biking our boys to school, checking the surf to see if I can to push back my morning meetings, heading into our new HQ, and enforcing a strict screen jail when the kids get home. And if you look closely at the photos, you will see my treasured crossword puzzle that someone decided to help me finish. And it wasn’t my perfect fur baby, Bootsy Boo. I love this adventure with you @jasonjmccarthy and know these are the best years I’ll look back on with the most fondness one day. Bleh, ok enough mushiness already!
