Can we go back to the days here where I give a life update for you and the mems for a bit — because this past weekend was one for the books, and I don’t want to forget a thing. Five big things happened, and my heart is still catching up… • We got to bless baby Cal, our final one. I cried—a lot. Not because I was sad, but because I was completely overwhelmed with gratitude. For family. For faith. For a God who knows him by name, and somehow loves me enough to bless me with him. There’s something so sacred about a mother’s love— I believe it’s one of the closest glimpses we get of how our Heavenly parents love us. • Ry turned 40 … FORTY-YEARS-OLD! How did we get here? 😅 I used to think 40 was so old... but we both feel so young lol. I married my favorite person in the world, and growing older with him is such a dang gift. Oh and the present I got him (well, for me too) I promise to show you as soon as I catch my breath! I’m still dying over it. • Gahh we bought the land. We did it! 😭🙏🏻 I never thought I’d be ready to settle down, but our hearts feel insanely at peace — we just couldn’t stop thinking about it. And in our experience when you can’t shake that feeling? It’s ALWAYS been right. Can’t wait to take you on this journey with us. • The girls wrapped up their volleyball season (hallelujah 🙌🏻 because tournament weekends are no joke) BUT man oh man we’ve LOVE watching them play! We’re still trying to find that balance—giving them good opportunities while not letting sports take over our lives. Let us know if you’ve figured it out. 🙃 • We took the girls to a Forrest Frank concert and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of my favorite nights ever. Thousands of believers from all walks of life, different churches, different stories—all united in Christ, worshipping and having the beeest time. Forrest said something that I can’t shake:
“Jesus didn’t die for the polished, perfect, happy parts of us. He died for the broken, the messy, the lonely parts of us. He’s chooses all of you.” What a gift… to be known, to be chosen, and to be loved, just as we are. Now you tell me—what’s good happening in your world right now? I’d love to hear. 👇🏻
