It’s kind of crazy seeing how social media is slowly moving backwards, not forwards. When I first started The Little Milk Bar, we were the first breastfeeding brand to EVER show women breastfeeding their babies. Crazy I know. Meta didn’t allow it. The page was constantly getting flagged for “s*xually explicit content” which is INSANE. Over time we eventually got Meta to change their policy on breastfeeding content (post for another day stay tuned), and it felt like a step in the right direction. But now it feels like all of that is being undone. Breastfeeding content getting flagged for “s*xually explicit content” again. Women’s Health social media accounts being DELETED. But sure, AI videos of fake women in lingerie are totally appropriate? Cool cool cool. We will never stop advocating for a woman’s right to exist without being s*xualized.
