Ed’s first crack at natural colors! 🍃🌈 2nd photo: Wet royal icing 3rd photo: Fully dry / developed overnight RI Naturals will be a different product with different limitations - but, here at The Sugar Art we will test them thoroughly, ensure stability and make them as vibrant as we possibly can for the baking community! Keep in mind, they will never compare to synthetic colors’ power and vibrancy. ESPECIALLY OURS! 😂🫶🏼 You will always need more natural drops to achieve a good tone. We keep it 💯! Though some naturals are considered heat stable, their final color is dramatically impacted by whatever range you end up baking. Meaning, lower temperatures (ie macarons) will yield better results whereas cake baking, or candy making, will tend to break down the color faster. There’s MUCH to learn and discuss on this natural journey and Ed is committed to sharing all of it along the way. So, be sure to follow the naturals highlight on IG! 🍃
