7-Level Tokyo Home by Masato Igarashi (@igaarchitects) Architect Masato Igarashi of IGArchitects designed a Tokyo residence that compresses seven staggered levels into a building that appears as just two floors. The interior dispenses with walls, enabling vertical continuity—even the topmost level feels spatially aligned with the bottom. Structurally, the home is arranged as a series of platforms and stairs that maximize use of a compact urban footprint while maintaining fluidity and visual connection between levels.
