This one has strong “Fight Gone Bad” vibes... Keep a running count of reps from movement to movement within each round for ease of keeping score. Use the minute of rest between to jot down your total reps for that round and start over at 1 for the next. With that said, we know having a target to shoot for with each movement can be helpful/informative, so for each round, you’re shooting for: 12-20 toes to bar, 15-24 shoulder to overhead, 14-23 box jumps, and 13-22 wall balls. As always, make wise choices and appropriate customizations as needed to hit those targets! (Of course, if you struggle with one movement and dominate in another, you can “make up” reps in one minute that you lack in another. So the ultimate goal of 70-100 reps per round still stands firm.) Since there is no allotted transition time between movements, we recommend working until the 0:50-0:55 of each minute and use the remaining 5-10 seconds to take a couple of deep breaths and get ready to start the next movement. Looks simple on paper, but this one will light you up! 🔥 Short bursts with rest are ALWAYS the ones that sneak up on you! Push hard in the front half by holding bigger sets, take a 3 minute break, then push hard again in the back half. Aim to complete all snatches in 2-4 sets and all squats in 3-4 sets. For back squats, avoid dropping the weight once it’s on your back, as you’ll have to pick it up again. Hold on as long as you can and keep your rests short when you break. If you’re comfortable finishing each half in 5 minutes or less, consider increasing the weight. Keep your shoulders above your hips when pulling from the floor for snatches - your hips should never be higher than your shoulders. Engage your legs and hips to smoothly transition the weight overhead. If you’re pushing it for the squats, it will hurt. Maintain proper form by keeping your chest up, weight in your heels, and core engaged.
