You loved the reel (check last post) we made of @earthbeneathmyfeett but personally, as awesome as that reel is, I like @jelleinmyear’s photography 10.000X better… Why..? Some say because I’m a grumpy, bitter old gen X fart who’s too old school for any technological evolution and they’re probably right… (I mean, they are NOT wrong… 🫣😏🤣) I personally think it’s because I am a man of wealth and taste who believes the art of photography should be protected against all odds as it captures a microsecond of past, present and future for eternity leaving the image open to interpretation for the viewer stimulating their imagination… Maybe I’m just a blabbermouth who should just STFU but hey… You gotta admit it’s a pretty haircut styled into two completely different looks using the right @reuzel products…

📼 FRIDAY FLASHBACK: the day we showed up to work with no pants. 🍑 The famous “Dude… where are your pants?!” situation. 😅 You know the feeling: arriving at work, and something’s very, very missing… So we did what any self-respecting Scumbag would; hit the @funkie_house hotline, explained the bare-legged emergency, and counted on The Wolf a.k.a. @wilcowerf to save the day. 🐺 Jumped on @romanoxdelegende’s scooter, raced down the Korte Hoogstraat, and a rack of our beloved @dickies threads was waiting to rescue us. Crisis averted. Legs covered. Dignity… mostly restored. BOBHAWK or MOBOB…? When my good friends, the beauties and brains behind @the.talents.official , the lowlands’ most prestige hair glossy, @daniellekilsant and @denniskilxx asked me to shoot the cover for the June edition using my muse and lover Batsy a.k.a. @batcitybabe as a model I was of course over the moon, what an honor to be on the cover not once… Not twice… But THREE TIMES (officially four, but I’ll explain in another post…) I knew exactly what I wanted to do, combine a classic Vidal Inspired bob with some classic barbering on the sides, soft, feminine, timeless… But hey, I wouldn’t be THE BLOODY BUTCHER if I didn’t improvise at least ONE LOOK on the spot so I took a panel right through the middle of the Bat’s Bob (say that fast, feels good) and sculpted some liberty spikes to bring out her inner punkrock amazone warrior… First time I ever tried, had no idea if it would work, there’s a very fine line between AWESOME and RIDICULOUS… Long story short, this improvised look not only ended up on the cover, I recreated it on the stage of @balibarberexpo… I know you either LOVE it or HATE it… Good!!
