BOBHAWK or MOBOB…? When my good friends, the beauties and brains behind @the.talents.official , the lowlands’ most prestige hair glossy, @daniellekilsant and @denniskilxx asked me to shoot the cover for the June edition using my muse and lover Batsy a.k.a. @batcitybabe as a model I was of course over the moon, what an honor to be on the cover not once… Not twice… But THREE TIMES (officially four, but I’ll explain in another post…) I knew exactly what I wanted to do, combine a classic Vidal Inspired bob with some classic barbering on the sides, soft, feminine, timeless… But hey, I wouldn’t be THE BLOODY BUTCHER if I didn’t improvise at least ONE LOOK on the spot so I took a panel right through the middle of the Bat’s Bob (say that fast, feels good) and sculpted some liberty spikes to bring out her inner punkrock amazone warrior… First time I ever tried, had no idea if it would work, there’s a very fine line between AWESOME and RIDICULOUS… Long story short, this improvised look not only ended up on the cover, I recreated it on the stage of @balibarberexpo… I know you either LOVE it or HATE it… Good!!
