I had the privilege of speaking at Cal Poly Pomona’s 25th Annual Pilipino Graduation. It was an honor to stand in front of a graduating class I related to deeply. * Worried about what’s next. * Unsure of the path. * Comparing my future to everyone else’s. During my last semester of college, I became my grandma’s full-time caregiver. No big opportunities lined up and no clarity about what was ahead. The moment I stopped seeing myself as a victim and started seeing caregiving as a blessing, as a chance to serve someone I loved, everything changed. So whether you’re stepping into your dream job or what feels like a setback, don’t just seek to do what you love. Seek to love what you do, especially when it serves someone else. 📸: @austinnmad
