An absolutely gorgeous 1950s designer “Ceil Chapman” polished cotton draped hourglass cocktail dress! I love the mid century abstract floral on this one, and the colors! The entire neckline is lined in elastic, so it could be worn on or off the shoulders. Looking at this piece, there’s no mystery why this was one of Marilyn Monroe’s favorite labels. So vintage bombshell, so classic, so elegant. A fabulous size, accommodating a 36-38 inch bust, a 29 inch waist, up to 42 inch hips, and 43 inches total length.
