Each piece is made by hand—canvas that’s cut, pressed, and sewn, with laser-cut felt letters carefully laid in place—resulting in soulful, tactile works with a timeless feel. The famous quote featured here is from civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer’s 1971 speech at the National Women’s Political Caucus: “Nobody’s free until everybody’s free.” Her call for Black and white women to unite in the fight for collective liberation still resonates deeply.
