It’s hard not to compare yourself with other small businesses. It’s tempting to look at their wins with envy or anxiety. But the truth is, there’s enough room for ALL the small businesses to succeed. We should be the ones who are MOST enthusiastically championing each other because we know the work and sacrifice it takes. I want to be the loudest cheerleader, the over-eager-mom-in-the-bleachers making a big deal out of small victories. I’m going to push back against that sneaky thief called jealousy because there’s no scarcity when it comes to success. A win for one is a win for us all. By the way, if you aren’t a small business owner, I know from experience that this applies mom to mom too. Let’s root for each other and celebrate each other’s wins without insecurity.
