AD. I've spoken a lot on here about periods when you have an autistic daughter. For us typical sanitary products like pads and tampons were far too sensory. Period pants have been a life saver. We were lucky enough to be sent some period pants from @wukawear and honestly I wasn't expecting them to be so different from other period pants we've tried. I used them last week. I had no leaks and they were so so comfy. The material is soft, stretchy and sensory friendly. But did you know the average woman will spend over £4000 in a lifetime on sanitary products? That statistic blew my mind. If you made the full switch to period pants it could save you up to £2500. So between me and my daughter that would be nearly £5000! The heavy flow period pants hold up to 4 tampons or 3 pads and can be worn for 12 hours. Each size covers 3-4 sizes making it far easier when trying to find the right fit. Not only that they last 2 years when cared for properly. I don't think I ever would have tried period pants if I didn't have an autistic daughter but now I have I can't see me ever going back.
