New month, new Purchase for a Pup recipient! Wilderdog’s April rescue is Tattered Paws & Golden Hearts Rescue. Wilderdog donates one cup of food for every purchase made. Each month a new shelter or rescue is chosen to receive the kibble donation, and @tatteredpawsgoldenhearts is our April recipient. Meet Darlin’, your future best friend! Darlin’ came into the care of Tattered Paws & Golden Hearts Rescue in August of 2024. To our surprise, she has been waiting for her chance ever since and has sadly been overlooked. In December of 2025 she traveled to a foster home in Arlington, VA in the hopes of giving her a better shot at her forever family and she is just waiting to be scooped up! This beautiful Setter gal quickly worked her way into the hearts of our team with her gentle, goofy, and sweet personality that continues to blossom under the care of her foster family. Each day she comes out of her shell a little more and is learning how fun being a dog can be! Don’t let her stern looks or Cruella-esque coloring and coat fool you, behind that serious exterior and beauty is a heart of gold. Darlin’ would make the perfect adventure buddy with her medium energy level and love for the outdoors!
