So many are chasing image, while I’m chasing peace. • The older I get, the less I care about impressing anyone and the more I care about walking out who God created me to be, without apology. • This is my life. With, or without IG. I just chose to let you in on it. • This life is one that I have to live with, and be happy about, when the day is over. • This isn’t some curated IG account created for clout, a pat on the back, for content, or aesthetics (clearly). 🤣🫶 • This is my legacy that I’m leaving to my own family. ☺️💕 • The teenager living in their parent’s basement doesn’t approve of my lifestyle. • Another vegan screams “murderer!” at me because I’m a farm butcher and asks me (again) if they should murder me, too… • Raw milk has become political. • People can’t stomach eating tip-to-tail but proudly snarf a Big Mac. • Some can’t imagine keeping up with the endless amounts of work that has to be done to run a farmstead- as they scroll for another hour on their phones. • Others think I have too many kids and rubbing “corpse cream” (aka tallow) into my skin is a crime. • These things people spew my way about the life I choose to share- well, that’s, like, your opinion, man. • Let’s stop performing and start checking in with ourselves on how we actually feel when no one is watching. • Ask yourself daily: am I *living* for me? Or am I living for the *approval* of people who don’t even know me?! • Know your worth. Be bold. Be confident. Be tenacious. Be gritty. Be graceful. • Understand you are not of this world. You are called to live for Him and not for them. ☺️🫶💕🙏 • There are SO MANY cultures, traditions, and lifestyles out there that makes this world go around! • Some you, may “get”. Some you, may not. • I’ll never demand you believe in what I believe in. Or live how I live. I ask, though, that you respect it. • And maybe can even see a value in our differences. • But either way, the life you’re living, your convictions, the crown on your heart, and your happiness is between you and God. • Do what makes you happy and don’t let anyone drag you down this week. • Walk it out, because every time you step, you grow!
