‘The vase collection started around the same time as my company. I’m an object person. For me, bags are sculptures in themselves. Every design has to have table value: you have to be able to put it on the table and it has to do something to you as an object. My Hortensia bag is actually a crazy sculpture. And also every vase is a piece of art in itself that can play a solo show, because of its color, shape and texture.
