The Bravery formed in 2003 as part of the post-punk revival scene in New York City. With only a 3 song demo, the band grew quickly thanks to burned CDs and mp3 downloads from their Myspace page. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2005, debuting at 18 on the Billboard charts thanks to the single "An Honest Mistake" that combines influences from '80s goth and '90s indie rock. Lead guitarist Michael Zakarin and vocalist Sam Endicott can been seen playing VOX amps both live and in the band's colorful music videos, notably an AC30 Super Twin head and cab and two AC30 combos. The band went on hiatus in 2012 but has since reunited for festivals in 2021 and 2023. #VOXAmps #TheBravery #ThrowbackThursday @thebravery
