The art of Sashiko meets the Salar. After our first collaboration on the Panenka, the Sashiko Gals return to reinterpret the Salar. Based in Ōtsuchi, Japan, this collective of 15 women keeps alive the centuries-old art of Sashiko, a traditional stitching technique born from the need to repair, reinforce and extend the life of garments. Over time, necessity became craftsmanship, and craftsmanship became art. Each pair reflects this heritage, where every stitch tells a story of care, resilience and transmission. 12 pairs available exclusively at the Boontheshop Cheongdam Casestudy. 89 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
