Respect the sun I still want people to enjoy being outside. Go to the beach, take the hike, sit by the pool, travel, make memories and enjoy your life. Sun protection doesn’t have to mean avoiding the things you love. For me, respecting the sun means making protection part of the way I live. Sunscreen, shade, a hat and UPF clothing are all tools that help me enjoy being outside while being more mindful of UV exposure. After everything I’ve experienced with melanoma, I don’t share sun safety because I want people to not enjoy the sun, I want them to respect it. Protect your skin. Respect your skin.
