There are a few supplements that I generally recommend to everyone due to their breadth of benefits and legitimacy in the research, and an omega-3 supplement is one of them. There is tons of good quality data out there showing Omega-3 fatty acids supporting immune function, metabolic health, cardiovascular function and health, eye health, brain health, and lots of other things. With all of those benefits stemming from one product, it’s an easy choice to prioritize it, even if you’re limited to only a few supps. And then as far as omega-3 supplements go, this one checks off all of the boxes I care about: dosage, sourcing, rancidity/quality control, digestibility and absorption, and even environmental sustainability. I am very objective with my decision-making around health and performance, since health doesn’t care about feelings, so it’s really just a matter of picking products that will bring the most benefit, and then getting them from a trustworthy manufacturer. It’s often the boring supplements that are the most legitimate and produce the most benefits. Omega-3 fatty acids fall into that category.
