I've driven this all over Japan for the past nine days. I've had to wash it twice 🤣😂 Swipe to see underneath the car. It's hard to believe it has 137k on the odometer. Technically it's Hondas send off for the DC2 Integra. So it's called the Type-Rx and it was available for the 2000 and a half model year all the way through 2001. It has electric folding mirrors, blue tinted carbon fiber style trim inserts, different pedals, CD player and higher end audio system standard. It also has a revised intake camshaft, more finely balanced driveshafts, and improved shocks. The Type-Rx also has all the upgrades from the 1998 version. 16-inch wheels with bigger disk brakes. To provide more torque lower down the rev range, Honda fitted a higher final drive ratio and a four-to-one exhaust manifold. These changes resulted in peak torque now being developed at 6200rpm as opposed to 7500rpm. This car is about pure driving pleasure and it almost brings tears to my eyes from how much joy it gives me. Growing up in Los Angeles when I was in high school the kids with the more well off families would buy them Integra's and Civic Si's. I was so envious, but I was so happy to be able to experience them, even if it was just getting rides. During the Fast and the Furious era these Hondas were absolutely the coolest things you could drive. I'm so glad I held out for this long to get one of these as my first Honda.
