Colour That Changes With the Light · Ceres Brixton-based natural dye studio Ceres, founded by Lara Mantell and Florence Hawkins, prints its signature geometric patterns using hand-cut paper stencils and screen mesh. Their pastes are made from foraged plants, byproducts and kitchen scraps, and ach panel is numbered, an archive of place and memory. To celebrate our Spring Summer 2025 concept, A Lightness of Being, Lara and Flo have made 200 unique panels by hand for our shop window display. The scale of the work is large - seven to fifteen pieces per location - and the mood is light, open, experimental. You can view our shop window displays from 1 May, and find out more about Ceres’ natural dye on the #TOASTMagazine via the link in bio.
