Repost from @jmquinteros • BTS @opusmovie - EMILY KATZ SFX MAKEUP STAGE 2 & 3 In order to save time for stages 2 and 3, we stacked appliances on top of stage 1. This meant that, while applying, keeping track of the order of the prosthetics really mattered. Each prosthetic had to be glued down in the right order, or edges would start to form where there would be too much buildup and no overlap. Using new pieces to blend what was underneath helped keep the application as fluid as possible. Mouth pieces were later added for VFX to create a swelling tongue.
