September 11 is one of those days people remember in pieces. Where they were. Who they were with. What they saw. What they felt. The phone calls they made. The silence that followed. The moment they realized life would never be the same. So many lives were forever changed that day. Families lost someone they loved. First Responders ran toward danger without knowing if they would come home. Service Members answered the call in the days, months, and years that followed. And across the country, people held each other a little closer. For a moment, America remembered what it meant to stand together. Neighbors checked on neighbors. Strangers prayed for strangers. Flags were raised. Lines were crossed. Differences felt smaller. Love for country, grief for the fallen, and gratitude for those who served became something we carried together.
