The posture, the back and ease of breathing are often things we take for granted unless there’s a problem but moving your spine can really benefit your body in the long term. This Wellness Wednesday, Jennifer discusses the importance of exercising your diaphragm with Milena Jaksic, Breathwork Coach and Founder of Platinum Pilates (platinumpilates.ie). Milena explains that the first step is to locate your diaphragm and then find a daily exercise programme that will allow that part of your body to move. This can include stretching and strength work and should involve the spine and the ribcage moving in multiple directions. Top tip? Rotation is super important as this will specifically stimulate the diaphragm! For more tips on wellness and skin health, why not book a consultation with one of our expert Skin Nerds?
