As I’m nearing the end of my 2 and a half year long pregnancy journey to finally having my rainbow baby, I’ve been really reflective. 💜 Pregnancy has forced me to slow down (which is so hard for someone like me that feels like my value comes from being productive all the time). Your value is not determined by your achievements. Sometimes just being kind to yourself and others is all you need. As girls we’re subconsciously taught not to “take up space.” Pregnancy teaches you that yes you can and should take up space. Whether you’re in the grocery store or online or anywhere. You don’t need to make yourself smaller to satisfy others. After going through a miscarriage and a stillbirth, there was so much out of my control. But I learned to look at what I could control and took the reins. Instead of stressing over what you can’t do anything about, put that energy into what you can do to take care of yourself. And last, just don’t give up Mamas. We are strong, we are goddesses, we have the universe flowing through our veins. 💪 That’s the end of my talk, thank you all for reading this far 😂💜💜
