A much smaller bench update from last week and this week as I’m fighting off a nasty ear/sinus infection. I’ll be taking the rest of the week off to rest and be with family, but here is a behind the scenes of bench work last week my lovelies. ⁣ ⁣ First up, the custom eternity leaf band is back from being cast from the hand-carved wax I did. But the leaves are all needing some recarving to really pop with that elven lord magic. This is a whole chunk of reclaimed gold, and it has definitely taken me a while to carve and now recarve. Sometimes rings that are the first of their kind do need some reworking, but I am very excited with how the recarving directly into the gold is coming along. All the gold dust! I shall be sharing glimpses of that in the following weeks as a Spire Signet carving for the kindest, most patient, client is up on the bench all next week. ⁣ ⁣ A Belladonna En Trois finished up as well as a gorgeous Mariposa set.
