Suspect Sought in Van Nuys Homicide LAPD Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect responsible for a homicide. On April 26, 2025, around 2:30 p.m., Van Nuys division patrol officers responded to a radio call of a welfare check in the 12600 block of Riverside Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim inside his apartment deceased. Further investigation revealed the suspect unlawfully entered the victim’s apartment and a physical altercation ensued, which resulted in the victim’s death. No arrests have been made at this time. Detectives have identified a possible suspect described as a 30-40-year-old Hispanic male, black hair, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, weighing between 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored jack, white shirt, and blue jeans. Detectives are releasing the suspect’s photos to assist them in locating him.
