This past Friday I won and became the youngest ever (male or female) @flograppling WNO Champion. My goal in competing is winning but also give technical, entertaining and fun to watch jiujitsu, as well as bring the views and make the world want to watch and respect the sport. If I show up at the event and I give my best every single time, I know I did my job. Every aspect, from the preparation, to the moment I walk on the mats, to what outfits I am going to wear, to the full presentation of who I am as an athlete, to the moments of victory are well planned. I am always training hard and I always look for opportunities to compete. To compete on WNO has been my long time dream and two years ago I was given that first opportunity followed by another two. I won all of them, then earned my way to get a chance to compete for a title and just a couple days ago I was able to win by submission. Winning the title and making a WNO record of 4-0 is incredible, but becoming the youngest ever to get the title is beyond my wildest dreams. Testing my skills amongst the best is another part of competing I love. I feel so humbled and proud to compete on a professional level and help grow jiujitsu, to be able to make history and break records at this age. Thankful to @riccardoammendoliabjj and the @flograppling team for the opportunity once again and I’m looking forward to being back to defend my 145lb title!
