When @maha_corbett and I started SWIISH around 12 years ago, we didn’t really know any other brand founders, let alone anyone in the ecomm space. There wasn’t anyone we knew who we could call and ask for advice with setting up our ecomm business, we didn’t know anyone to do brand collaborations with, and most of all, we had no business community to share the ups and downs of entrepreneurship with. Fast forward to now where we feel so fortunate to be part of a strong community of founders who genuinely want to support each other, who find opportunities to do business together, and who cheer each other on through all the ups and downs. It makes such a difference. Last night, we spent time amongst entrepreneurs we know, and many who we had never connected with before, as part of the Boa Ladies Supper Club and it was just so brilliant.
