Coastal Stewardship and Restoration at Trestles 🌊💪 Over the past four months, hundreds of Surfrider volunteers participated in beach and habitat cleanups at Trestles. Together, we made a significant impact by removing 5,000 pounds of invasive iceplant and 400 pounds of trash! Removing invasive iceplant creates space for native coastal plants to return and thrive, which helps restore vital habitat that supports wildlife, and enhances this coastline’s resilience to extreme weather and rising seas.
