Sea Island Cotton T-shirt. We were the first brand to make T-shirts from Sea Island cotton, transforming a garment once associated with workwear into a luxury essential. Part of the Sunspel story since the late 1800s, Sea Island cotton is grown in limited quantities in the Caribbean and prized for its exceptionally long fibres. These create a fabric with remarkable softness, strength and a natural lustre, while remaining breathable and comfortable against the skin. More than a century later, it remains one of the finest fabrics we use, alongside our Sea Island cotton knitwear, shirts, polo shirts and underwear.
