Welcome to Summer Solace Tallow 🌞 I’m Megan Bre Camp, a chef and natural perfumer turned skincare maker. I started Summer Solace Tallow in 2014 because I wanted to bring back the nourishing traditions of using animal fats for the skin. This is an ancient practice that honors the land, the animals, and our own well-being. Each week, I render fresh suet from regeneratively raised cattle into rich, golden tallow and hand pour every batch with care in our Oakland studio. My formulas are made with regional ingredients that reflect the rhythm of the land and the wisdom of our ancestors. To use, scoop a small amount into your hands, rub them together to gently warm and emulsify, then apply to your skin.
