We found an unused 35 mm black/white photo film roll on the pavement outside our studio a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps some unlucky person had just bought it and dropped it by accident? We decided to put the found object to good use and located our old 1990’s point and shoot camera to document the studio’s ongoings that day; potters potting, glass blowers blowing. The special film grain texture, soft light and physical presence of the moment is something you wouldn’t be able to catch with an iPhone. We thank the unlucky film roll pre-owner 📷
