I’ve got a gravel race this weekend. @grannysgravelgrinder. I did the 100 mile version last year on an old felt breed in some garbage conditions. (I’ll post a throwback pic in my story). Pretty sure i was on some 35mm compass/rene herse tires last year. This year I’ll be on the @statebicycleco v3 for sure. I got a wild hair and thought i would see if the @conti_bicycle Terra speeds (40mm) would fit. Assuming it’s dry, this is plenty clearance for me (I’m not a pristine bike guy. It’s a tool). This is tough. I like it. @chasethebiker said Terra speeds was the move, so here we are. I’d like to say that I’m aiming defend my title in the SS race, but I’m doing the 50 miler this year and i bet there’s more fast SS dudes in there (although coasty, I’m sure.). We’ll see. I’m excited about it. 48-17. Same ratio as last year. I finished way behind @you_know_inno (but if you race bikes in MN, you have too…) but ended up 18th out of almost 70 in the long one overall.
