Instead of relying on containers (like bouncers, car seats, and cribs), give your baby a safe, open space on the floor where they can move freely and observe their surroundings. 🗣️ Narrate your care routines. Tell your baby what you’re doing during diaper changes, getting dressed, or bath time. This helps build language, predictability, and respect by treating them as an active participant rather than a passive recipient of care. 🤍 Pause before jumping in to help. Give your baby a moment to try before stepping in. Children take longer to process information and problem solve than adults do, and giving them the time and space they need to problem-solve can build confidence and independence over time.
