If you find it’s hard to limit yourself from overstuffing your child’s shelves, it may help to consider your child’s shelves as a display shelf that invites interaction rather than a shelf to store their things. You may also need another designated spot to store their excess toys and books as well.  Share this with friends or family to help explain why you don’t need them to get your child yet another toy.
