Seriously, learning the ancestral skill of sourdough back in 2021 not only changed my life health wise, but has dramatically affected our finances. If you’re looking for a guaranteed $500+ month side hustle, baking high-quality sourdough for people is it. I paid for our kids Christmas by selling loaves back in 2022 when we had nothing. If you don’t know where to “start”, this is what I would suggest: 1. Either inherit an already mature + established sourdough starter from someone locally, or snag our incredible 38+ year old dehydrated Eden starter that rehydrates in just five days. With over 40,000+ baby Eden’s sold and shipped around the world, she truly will get your business get off the ground successfully. Comment “EDEN” and I’ll send you a link to grab her. Price is going up in November, so snag her quick!! 2. There’s so much content out there to absorb and learn. There’s not just ONE way to make sourdough. I do it differently than many bakers (who would probably be disgusted by my ancestral non measuring approach) but it works for me. We also have a Beginner’s Course but I don’t suggest grabbing that just yet. I’m in the process of shooting a new one with lots more info and dropping it next month. We do have a lot of FREE content here and on Tik Tok. YouTube is your friend. 3. Utilize what you already have. You don’t have to purchase every new gadget or tool to make good bread. Does it help? Sure. I love a good proofing basket, a good lame and a good bowl. If you can get an enameled Dutch oven, that’s awesome too. We have a good amount of supplies in our shop, if you need! 4. Making tried and true recipes. Our “Art of Sourdough” cookbook is used by hundreds if not thousands of micro bakers around the world, which includes our artisan sourdough recipes with add ins. You can easily sell those loaves for $12-15 once you get the hang of things. Comment “COOKBOOK” and I’ll DM you a link to grab it. We also have a digital version, too. 😘 5. Be okay with mistakes! It’s how you learn. It doesn’t have to be perfect right off the bat. I still make mistakes. No crying over overproofed dough. Just make focaccia 😉. You can do this!!!
