On Sundays we bake bread ☺️. Learning how to make fresh sourdough bread changed everything for me. Not only did it give me my life back by being able to eat bread without symptomatic repercussions because of its natural fermentation process, but it helped me be more present, eat healthier, lose weight and help my family consume more nutrient dense foods. A win-win all around! I’ve been learning more and more how important it is to use fresh milled flour, especially from ancient grains. I personally love Einkorn best because it’s the ORIGINAL ancient grain that only has 14 chromosomes and is the most digestible grain for the human body. But if I’m out, I use Kamut, like in this video. Both great options for people who are gluten-intolerant, like me. I just did 50/50 organic bread flour and fresh milled Kamut, if you’re wanting to try it out. Everything else was the same.
