Plant pests… Every indoor gardener is going to deal with them at some point. Whether it’s pesky spider mites, the seemingly-impossible-to-get-rid-of mealybugs, or the never ending battle against thrips, it’s best to be prepared and level-headed when time comes to deal with them. There are plenty of methods for getting rid of them — too many to list in this caption — but no matter which method you use, persistence is key; one treatment is never going to eradicate an entire infestation. Treat problem plants every week or so, spot check the leaves daily, and water them by placing them in the shower or sink and giving the whole plant a good rinse. Plant pests also thrive in dry indoor environments, so providing your plants with additional humidity and air flow is sometimes just enough to keep pests at bay. 🪴 . . . #plantcare #plantparenthood #plants #plantcommunity #plantsofinstagram
