Golden dorado don’t just eat other fish. They obliterate them at the surface, and if you’re lucky enough to be standing in the river when it happens, you understand instantly why this fish has a following. Getting to water like this in Bolivia means helicopters, gravel bars, jaguar tracks in the sand, and days where the fish never show up at all. It’s not a trip you take twice without meaning it.
