I’d give up any whitetail hunt I’ve ever had for yesterday. First time my dad and I have ever shared a tree together after all these years. Immediately burst into tears after the shot. My grandfather got me into fishing when I was young, but the love for the outdoors skipped a generation with my dad. His passion is sports and especially Braves baseball. He always took the time for my brother Max and I growing up, coaching us in about every sport and supporting us no matter what we wanted to do. He’s genuinely the most funny and kind hearted man I know, but just never had much interest in hunting until yesterday. Now, I think he understands my love for it and wants to go again. Yesterday was one of those days you remember forever. Time is something you can’t get back, you can’t stop, and can’t buy more of. Spend your time with the people you love. My dad always gave that to Max and I. I felt like a little kid yesterday for the first time in a long time. Thank you for going hunting with me. Love you Dad.
