This week’s interior inspiration is a bold and colourful Warsaw apartment by NOWW Studio, located on the top floor of a 1912 building in Old Mokotów.⁠ ⁠ Originally lacking charm, the 60-square-metre flat has been reimagined for a young creative couple. Structural reinforcements and a full renovation allowed the designers to open up the layout, introducing a spacious living-dining-kitchen area and vibrant new character throughout.⁠ ⁠ Graphic contrasts in wood tones and bold marbles define the flat’s look - herringbone oak flooring, decorative wall mouldings, and custom joinery create rhythm and texture. A standout kitchen features marquetry-style cabinetry, blending light and dark woods with sun-like veneer details.⁠ ⁠ Touches of colour are playfully scattered: a bull’s-eye window, deep purple bedroom walls, olive and plum-toned furnishings, and 60s ceramic tiles. Vintage pieces and Polish contemporary art complete the layered, expressive atmosphere - equal parts refined and unconventional.
