AD By adding flowers to my vegetable garden I’m not only adding colour and texture to the patch, I’m creating the perfect environment to attract our friendly pollinators too! Flowers do so much more than look good and I always aim to plant a real mixture of veg and blooms in all of my beds. There are some must grow flowers I think should feature in every garden and those are: 🐝 Nasturtiums - They look wonderful flowing over the edge of beds and do a fabulous job of attracting the butterflies, and hungry caterpillars, away from your tasty veg! 🌼 Marigolds - A bright and beautiful flower with a strong scent that helps detract pests 🌻Sunflowers - It’s not a veg patch without them and the bees adore them! There’s lots more flowers to choose from. Get creative and add some colourful flowers to your vegetable patch, you wont regret it.
