🧡🖤 PEAKY RUNNERS x RUFFWEAR | SUNDAY TRAIL RUN 🖤🧡 This Sunday we’re heading into the heart of the Peak District for a proper Peaky adventure with @ruffwear_europe . 🐾⛰️ 📍 Fairholmes – Derwent Valley Circular 🥾 13.2KM | 467M ELEVATION ⏱️ 2.5–3 HOURS | SOCIAL PACE ⛰️ Moderate | Circular Route Starting at Fairholmes, we’ll head up through Rowlee Pasture and onto the moorland ridge, taking in some of the incredible scenery the Upper Derwent Valley has to offer. We’ll then descend towards Howden Reservoir, follow the water alongside Derwent Reservoir and make our way back towards Fairholmes. Along the route we’ll pass Tip’s Memorial, remembering the loyal sheepdog who stayed beside his shepherd for an incredible 105 days after he died on Howden Moor. 🐾 We’ll also pass the Dambusters Memorial, before taking in woodland trails, open moorland, big views and the incredible Alport Castles. And this one is extra special because Ruffwear are joining us! 🐕🧡 Four legged Peakys are absolutely welcome, and Ruffwear will be bringing along some of their gear for you and your dogs to try during the run, including pieces from their Trail Running Collection and Swamp Cooler Harnesses. If you’re bringing your dog, please let us know their size when you book so Ruffwear can bring the right gear along for them to try. We’ll be running together, exploring together and enjoying the trails the Peaky way. Good dogs. Great trails. Stronger communities. 🐾🧡🖤 📍 Fairholmes Car Park – S33 0AQ ⏱️ Meet: 8:30–8:45am | Start: 9:00am 🥾 13.2KM | 467M 🐕 Well behaved Dogs welcome DM us to book your place. #trailrunningcommunity #runningcommunıty #traildogs #ruffwearharness #peakdistrict
