For this week’s #MindfulMay, I’m sharing something that’s always been at the center of my wellness practice: nourishment. As a certified holistic nutrition counselor (and lifelong foodie), I believe how we feed ourselves is one of the most powerful forms of self-care. For me, nourishment isn’t just about what’s on the plate—it’s how it’s prepared, how it makes you feel, and the ritual around it. Most days, my approach to nourishment looks like this: - Prioritize color, fiber, protein, and whole ingredients at every meal. - Start the day with a protein-packed breakfast, usually a smoothie or yogurt topped with PE granola. - Build lunch and dinner around veggies, protein, and flavor. I love a big salad or a one-pan meal. - Prep ahead when I can (I’ve been experimenting with sourdough lately and loving it). I don’t follow strict food rules, I just aim to eat in a way that supports my energy, digestion, and joy. That, to me, is true nourishment. Curious about recipes, my go-to meals, or anything else? Drop your questions in the comments, I’d love to chat 💛
