Custom Public School New York for Justin Jefferson, Met Gala 2025. Superfine: Tailoring Black Style was this year’s theme but it’s been a constant in our work over the years. With menswear taking center stage, we set out with one of our favorite classic patterns, a Glenn Plaid Check, to build our look around. A high waisted double pleated pant paired with a cropped double breasted peak lapel jacket set the tone for the new PS silhouette. Finally, we pay homage to the late André Leon Talley, whose iconic looks spawned a generation of future dandies, with a cape-as-gown moment inspired by a PS outerwear staple — the classic flight bomber.
